Residential Alarm Systems
Residential alarm systems are designed to protect your home and loved ones against such things as burglar intrusion, heat and smoke detection, low temperature, flood, medical alert, natural gas leaks and carbon monoxide. They are also capable of calling police, fire and ambulance at the press of a button.
The above electronic sensors are connected to a main control panel via low voltage cables or wireless transmitters and receivers. They are designed to let those in your home know of potential dangers as well as notify our monitoring center and have the appropriate authorities dispatched (Police, Fire Department or Ambulance).
We offer 24 hour ULC approved monitoring as well as 24/7 technical support.
Commercial Alarm Systems
Commercial alarm systems are designed to alert your employees of potential burglar intrusion, heat and smoke detection, low temperature, carbon monoxide, natural gas leaks, fire panel monitoring and floods. They are also capable of calling police, fire and ambulance at the press of a button.

Video Surveillance
Through the use of closed circuit TV (CCTV) and DVR (Digital Video Recorders) we can protect your home or business by visually monitoring your property, personnel and assets. You also have the ability to view your cameras from any internet connection. Installing Video Surveillance systems will decrease your cost of physical security and give you the abilty to permanently record and archive surveillance.
Fire Panel Monitoring
Your Fire Panel can be monitored in order to alert the local fire department that your Fire Panel has gone into alarm. This gives you the piece of mind knowing the fire department has been called whether you are in your building or not.
Access Control
The Security Company offers Access Control using cards or key-tags through the use of proximity readers.
The readers give you a stable and dependable technology while remaining affordable. Proximity readers use a specific frequency to alert a chip embedded in a card or key-tag and reflect back to the signal with an encrypted code number.

By using the Vacant Home / Snowbird Services, you can trust The Security Company to watch your home when you are gone for extended periods of time. This service is available in Pembroke, Petawawa and Laurentian Valley.
Here is what we will do:
- Walk the home perimeter
- Security check for vandalism, broken doors and windows
- Check locks on garage, sheds, gates etc.
- Check and record internal temperature of home
- Check for water or storm damage
- Check for water in basement
- Check hot water tank for leaks and temperature setting
- Flush toilets and check all plumbing fixtures
- Check A/C
- Water plants
- Remove snow from entrance way
- Pick up mail and flyers
- Use of lock box for entrance key
- We can install a portable monitored alarm system
- Check existing alarm system
- Check lights on timer and/or turn lights on and off as desired
- Record all of the above using a check sheet located inside the house, check sheet will have contact info of owner and other key holder names
Here is what we will not do:
- Feed or walk pets
- Remove heavy snow from driveway and sidewalk
- Start or move automobiles
- Lawn or pool maintenance

GPS Tracking
We are proud to introduce the most innovative GPS products to track vehicles, people, etc. Our fleet management system is accurate and user friendly and provides real-time tracking of your assets any time, anywhere in North America. You can view the location of your asset and the speed at which it is traveling and review the history of its locations complete with time and date and address labels from any computer, anywhere.
Our GPS tracking product will track a vehicle within 150’, other tracking products use cell phone towers and are sometimes inaccurate by kilometers. Prices start at just $325.00 and can easily be installed in loaders, groomers, collectable cars, boats, snowmobiles, commercial vehicles, construction equipment, and forestry equipment.
Our automotive GPS products offer a GeoFence application that allows for a notification to be sent by a phone call, email or text message from our monitoring station when a vehicle leaves a GeoFence area. For example, at any time, if a vehicle were to leave the property, a call can be generated to any number of contacts and our monitoring specialists will notify where the vehicle is, how fast it is going and which direction it is heading.
The cost savings of this feature alone could be impressive. Insurance discounts and fuel savings will most likely cover the monthly cost of the monitoring. Trucking companies have indicated insurance savings of up to $28.00 per vehicle per month. Monthly monitoring for the GPS unit ranges from between $40.00 and $45.00 depending on frequency of signals.
The tracking reports can be used as a backup to your log books which could be presented to the MTO for proof of hours on the road, etc. These reports provide addresses which can act as a reference for your invoicing department for the service calls performed. A busy company can easily miss invoicing a service call.
